BTEC Professional Diploma

If you are working with people who are visually impaired and have aspirations to improve your knowledge of the impact of a visual impairment and the rehabilitation process, this nationally recognised qualification is for you.

This one year course contains six core modules:

  1. Visual Impairment and the use of Low Vision
  2. Holistic Assessment of people with a visual impairment
  3. Adult Rehabilitative Learning and Instructional skills
  4. Rehabilitative Strategies of Daily Living for People who are Visually  Impaired
  5. Communication skills for people with a visual impairment
  6. Orientation and Mobility skills for people with a visual impairment
